We are pleased to introduce you to Booking Payment (BP), the innovative payment solution for Booking.com. Here you will find all the important information about it:
Payment options:
- With Booking Payment, you can pay either with the Virtual AirPlus Card or your personal credit card.
- When using a personal credit card, secure 2-factor authentication takes place. This means you confirm the payment via an authorization app from your bank, for example.
Process:
- With Booking Payment, Booking.com handles the payment to your hotel.
- You pay directly to Booking.com at the time of booking.
Cancellation flexibility:
- You can cancel your booking according to the cancellation conditions and receive a credit if cancellation is possible.
Your benefits:
- No advance payment required by the traveler(s): The payment is processed centrally through Booking.com.
Please note:
- Only the services offered during the booking process can be booked. Services that need to be booked at the hotel on-site will not be paid for centrally and must be paid directly by the traveler at the hotel.
Special note for smaller hotels:
- For smaller hotels, there is a higher likelihood that Booking Payment is the only payment option.
Special feature: Company taking over costs in connection with Booking Payment Checking your payment options:

First, we check if a cost takeover at the hotel is possible. If the cost takeover is possible, the payment process remains unchanged.

If the cost takeover via virtual credit card is not possible, we check the availability of Booking Payment. If Booking Payment is available, we offer you the direct payment of the booked travel service. Central payment is ensured for the traveler, however, without services booked on-site.

If neither cost takeover nor Booking Payment are available, we will inform you that the payment must be made with your personal credit card.
