Proceed as described in the entry "creation of employees" and create an employee, but at "authorization" you need to select the user right of a travel manager. In the navigation bar, select "access rights" and define the corresponding rights:
Travel requests (if necessary):
Select at "travel requests" the area for which the travel manager can post travel requests in order to approve travel requests.
Step 1: Select the area for which the new travel manager can approve travel requests.
Step 2: By clicking on "search" the existing authorized persons are displayed.
Step 3: Click on "add" (link on the bottom)
Step 4: Search the person you want to add
Step 5: Click on "add"
Step 6: Define whether it is the main approver or a representer who will be informed with or without e-mail about the travel request. If rights are missing, check the box to approve the rights now.
Booking rights
In order for the travel manager to have booking rights, select at "booking rights" for which area the travel manager shall be able to book.
Step 1: Select the area for which the new travel manager is going to book.
Step 2: By clicking on "search" the existing authorized persons will be displayed.
Step 3: Click on "add" (link at the bottom).
Step 4: Search for the person you would like to add.
Step 5: Click on "add".
Step 6: Define which travel services the travel manager can book and click "add".
Reporting
The reporting right is only required if the rights management has not previously assigned the reporting right for the company, branch or department. This also applies in case the reporting right for the travel manager has only been granted for a certain area. In order for the travel manager to have access to the reporting for the specific area, select the area for which he/she should have access to.
Step 1: Select the area for which the new travel manager can view a report.
Step 2: By clicking on "search" the existing authorized persons are displayed.
Step 3: Click on "add".
Step 4: Search the person you want to add.
Step 5: Click on "add".
Step 6: Define the areas for which the travel manager can view a report (booking history, current bookings, reporting).
