Two-factor authentication (2FA) via app

In Atlatos Profi Traveller, two-factor authentication (2FA) can be activated via an authenticator app.

This option provides an additional layer of security when logging in – especially for protecting personal data and booking information.

Advantages:

•    Increased security when accessing the system
•  Support for all common authenticator apps

•   Easy setup via your personal user 

   

Activation of two-factor authentication (2FA) by the user:

1. Navigation in the system:
   Menu item My data > Security  (1)
2. Start activation:
   Click on ‘Activate’ to begin the setup process. (2)

3. Scan QR code:
Scan the QR code provided using a standard authenticator app (e.g. Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator).

4. Enter confirmation code:
Enter and confirm the code generated in the app for verification.

Deactivation (only possible by administrator):

Deactivation can only be carried out by administrators/travel managers/bookers with administrative rights. This requires the right to edit employee data.

1. Navigation in the system:
   Menu item Administration > Employees
2. Select the relevant user profile and open the detailed view.
3. Deactivate two-factor authentication
