Train–Flight Comparison in Atlatos Profi Traveller

In Atlatos Profi Traveller, a combined comparison function for train and flight connections is available.

Function description:
When searching for flights on domestic German routes, the results overview additionally displays a note indicating alternative train connections. The estimated train fare is also shown there. With a click, users can switch directly to the detailed view of the train connections. Switching back to the flight view is also possible.

Comparison parameters:

• Total price (flight vs. train)

• Total travel time including transfer times to and from the station/airport

• Comfort factors according to fare type and mode of transport

Purpose of the function:

• Comparison of train and flight connections within a single end-to-end workflow

• Support for selection taking into account price, duration, and travel policies

• Faster decision-making through a central display and the ability to switch directly between both modes of transport
