By default, the company may use the statutory travel lump sums of German tax law. These are updated annually by Atlatos. However, higher, lower or no travel lump sums may be deposited via the administration which are used to calculate the meal lump sum.
The company may deposit the company-specific meal lump sum via the frontend. The legal lump sums are listed here for information.
Companies can add their own meal lump sums for their own country names. For example, should a company pays a different rate for travel to another company location, the normal meal lump sum can be used for Germany and the travel lump sum for travel such as "Germany Concern Travel".
Should a company pays more than the statutory lump sums, the company profile may specify whether the percentage reduction is based on the statutory lump sum or on the individually paid lump sum. This setting can only be done by the Atlatos support team.
